The San Bernardino County Central Committee
We are the official Republican organization in the county and act as the official organizing and unifying hub of the Republican party.
The membership of 32 electeds (based on population) and 16 ex-officios is elected every two years in the June Republican primary. Members serve beginning in January of odd years through the general election of the following year.
What We Do
- Register Republican voters
- Establish a county-wide precinct organization
- Organize an effective “Get-Out-the-Vote” program
- Recruit and assist Republicans running for office
- Support the efforts of clubs throughout the county
Committees
Precinct Captain and GOTV
Chair: TBD.
The purpose of the Precinct Captain Program is to increase Republican participation in the county through higher voter turnouts, increased registration, and increased participation in the county party.
Outreach and Voter Registration
Chair: Adam Cabrera.
The purpose of the Outreach and Voter Registration Program is to increase Republican voter registration in the county, recruit volunteers, and increase awareness of the party’s mission.
Finance
Chair: Marc Steinorth.
The purpose of the Finance Committee Program is to plan, budget, and raise the necessary funds for carrying out the mission of the party.
Resolutions & Endorsements
Chair: Roman Nava.
The purpose of the Resolutions & Endorsements Committee is to identify and interview candidates for local office for consideration by the Central Committee. Endorsed candidates are those selected by the committee as upholding the highest standard of Republican principles and support the Republican platform.
